Elder law attorneys focus on the legal needs of the elderly, and work with a variety of legal tools and techniques to meet the goals and objectives of the older client. It covers everything from estate planning, wills, and trusts, to making arrangements for at home and nursing home care.

Elder law attorneys help their clients with their Medicaid, social security and retirement benefits. Elder law attorneys also help to ensure that their clients are protected against elder abuse (physical, emotional and financial).
